After watching Zeitgeist Addendum i became aware of the Venus Project. The Venus Project aims to change our current monetary system to a resource based system. Now am not saying that a resource based economy would be better but it does look alot better than our current monetary system.
The idea that every person in the world would have food and housing alone is fantastic, allthough it is hard to imagine but if you just sit back and think about it, you must admit it the idea is great I do believe that the world has the resources to do this but am sure it will never happen unless people start to wake up out of their enslaved environment.
what would it mean though? Rich people sure wouldn’t be happy or would they? If you were to take away money then there would be no need to steal money, no need to worry about bills so at the end of the day even rich people should be happy with these changes.
Is the Venus Project viable? Yes, i think it is, just by using common sense, i mean if they can raise 800 billion dollars for “The Large Hadron Collider” then surely they could raise the same ammount towards such a project. The Large Hadron Collider is one small example of what can be built with money these days.
It makes you wonder, why these large sums of money can not used to help people in dire need of food and or housing.
