March 5, 2011 (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) – Up and coming fashion jewelry line MAFIA Jewellery will be featured at this year’s Canadian Juno Awards. MAFIA founders Tori and Lia van Eyk have signed an exclusive deal with MAFIA’s Thai manufacturer that will allow the pieces to be shipped to Toronto and placed in the Juno celebrity gift bags this year, and Juno celebrity attendees can expect to see individualized pieces from the line.
The MAFIA brand encompasses unique, handmade, high fashion pieces in a variety of styles. The brand began in 2004 when two Thai designers formed a partnership and began designing one-of-a-kind pieces. Their Thai shop became so popular with clientele around the world that numerous retailers began competing to distribute the pieces.
The 2011 Juno Awards will take place on March 27, at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. MAFIA pieces will be featured in gift bags during the after party. Also, MAFIA brand ambassadors will be on the streets of Toronto during Ottawa Fashion week, building buzz about the brand with handmade samples. MAFIA will be at Ottawa Fashion Week events from March 18-20.
Tori and Lia van Eyk are the only retailers in the world fully contracted to distribute the MAFIA jewelry brand with the Thai MAFIA brand. The result of this partnership is a line of urban, high fashion jewelry that is contemporary, unique, and in demand.
The MAFIA empire is the result of many years’ hard work, and MAFIA brand ambassadors are proud to feature their pieces at the Junos. Anticipated attendees are celebrities such as Katy Perry and Russell Brand, Ke$ha, Drake, Taylor Swift, and an impressive list of other global celebrities who will engage directly with the MAFIA brand.

Over the coming week, MAFIA brand ambassadors will be inviting MAFIA fans to this party via social media. Only a few fans will be selected as new members of the MAFIA brand ambassador team.
